Glossary

Amaretto
  • A generic liqueur invented from Italy and made from apricot pits and herbs, creating an almond flavor.
Bourbon
  • Bourbon Whiskey is named after the county of Bourbon in Kentucky where it originated. It is distilled from a grain mash and is aged for more than four years in new oak barrels that have been charred.
Pernod
  • A famous proprietary absinthe-type liqueur from France without the wormwood ingredient that was a part of the original absinthe formula.
