Fun Party & Occasion Drinks


The Best way to begin a party/occasion is to serve a good Occasion-Complimentary drink.
So if you are wondering what to serve this Easter, here are a few helpful tips;

A Fruity Mocktail to get your guests going on the dance floor-

• 96 oz. Pineapple juice
• 8 oz. Lime juice
• 56 oz. Schweppes- Ginger Ale
• 28 oz. Schweppes- Club Soda
• 24 oz. Orange juice
• 12 oz. Lemon juice
• 2 cups Sugar

Mix the sugar and juices in a blender.
Strain over a block of ice into the punch bowl.
Add the Ginger Ale and Club Soda.
Stir gently to properly mix all the ingredients.
Makes approximately 70 - 4oz servings.

A Blissful Cocktail to get your spirits high-

• 4 oz. Pineapple juice
• 1 oz. Bourbon* or Gold rum
• 1 oz. Pernod*
• 1/2oz. Amaretto*

Mix all the ingredients along with cracked ice in a shaker or blender.
Serve in a chilled 12-oz. Collins glass.

(Fun Idea- Add some food color into your ice cube trays and mix colored cubes to make your drinks a colorful punch)

Glossary

Amaretto
  • A generic liqueur invented from Italy and made from apricot pits and herbs, creating an almond flavor.
Bourbon
  • Bourbon Whiskey is named after the county of Bourbon in Kentucky where it originated. It is distilled from a grain mash and is aged for more than four years in new oak barrels that have been charred.
Pernod
  • A famous proprietary absinthe-type liqueur from France without the wormwood ingredient that was a part of the original absinthe formula.
